Yuanhe Energy Hybrid Energy Storage System Delivers and Commences Operation
Recently, the hybrid energy storage system equipped with Yuanhe Energy's eMetaControl® Energy Management System and eMetaCube® Energy Storage System has been delivered and put into operation. This energy storage system can be used for the R&D and factory performance testing of diesel generators and gas turbines. It can also operate in parallel with diesel generators, gas turbines and gas generators, providing customers with more stable, cleaner and smarter energy supply.

This hybrid power system is composed of power grid, diesel generator set, energy storage system, load generator and auxiliary power supply system, etc. With the flexible dispatching of Yuanhe Energy's eMetaControl® Energy Management System, it can realize multiple operation modes including grid-connected operation, off-grid operation, and hybrid power co-operation with diesel generators. The eMetaCube® Energy Storage System can store the electric energy generated by the load generator, eliminating the need for traditional load banks to test engine performance through energy-consuming methods. Compared with traditional solutions, the energy saving rate of this hybrid power test bench can reach more than 85%. The eMetaCube® Energy Storage System features fast black-start response, stable on-load startup, rapid grid connection/disconnection switching with minimal fluctuation, which ensures the stable operation of loads.
If the engine under test is replaced by unstable power generation systems such as gas-fired power generation, the hybrid power system combined with the energy storage system can convert the unstable power source into a low-carbon power grid that provides stable power supply for loads. Compared with the direct AC-side coupling of unstable power supply systems, this solution is easier to control and has more stable performance.

The eMetaControl® Energy Management System enables remote startup/shutdown, automatic-manual mode switching, closing/opening operations, as well as data monitoring and alarm display functions. It features multi-level operation permissions, ensuring simple operation and reliable running.Through the Ethernet interface, it communicates with the generator set controller and the Battery Management System (BMS), allowing it to read and display real-time parameters, data curves, historical records, alarm information of the generator set, as well as battery data.
